Joy's Faves: 12-18 Month Edition
Hi Folks! Here are few things Joy and I are loving right now! From sippy cups to books, these are making our lives a lot more enjoyable. If you have a little one, feel free to sample the items in this guide. There are a few affiliate links in the list below, but everything on the list has come straight from our household and has earned the LMS Seal of Approval.
I've been using these since my oldest was a toddler. They're durable, spill-proof, and easy for little hands to hold.
I must confess that I didn't have high hopes for these Target brand diapers, but I took a chance because they were on sale...and I couldn't be more pleasantly surprised! They fit Joy well and offer a great bang for our buck. Also, they recently introduced overnight diapers that are awesome, too!
After comparing a number of walking toys, we finally settled on this one because of the price and sturdy construction. It gives our daughter the support she needs while develops the coordination to walk independently. It also folds down for easily for storage and portability.
We take lots of road trips as a family, which means Joy spends a fair amount of time in her car seat. This gentle spray is great for keeping her fresh, as well as tackling the inevitable blowout.
5. Sesame Street on Hulu or PBS Kids (both apps are available for Roku)
We love PBS in general, but Sesame Street seems to hold Joy's interest with it's wonderful variety of music, numbers, games, and letters. She's learning and I get to catch up on laundry or other chores. It's a win-win! (Recommended Episode: "Falling Leaves", if for no other reason than Chris and Leela's rap duet about deciduous trees)
I've bought a few of the books from this line (and will definitely be buying more!), but Joy has been drawn Alice in Wonderland as of late. When I point to each picture and read the caption, she giggles with delight. She's particularly fond of the white rabbit and the green frog.
These days, bumps and scrapes are inevitable. This oil blend is mild enough for her sensitive skin, yet effective enough to heal minor scuffs and scratches.
I just happened to pick these up on a whim, and once again, I was incredibly surprised by the quality. These wipes feel thin, but are actually pretty durable; one or two wipes are all I usually need, even for messier diapers. Plus, they smell amazing!
That concludes the list of essentials for Joy at the moment. I can vouch for every single item mentioned because I use them every day. My daughter likes them and they make my life easier. What's not to love about that?
If you have any recommendations, I'm always open to new things! Feel free to leave a comment below.
